Napket, SNOB Food!

Look what we found!

Ok we kept it away from you for 3 weeks now but i think this lovely chain of boutique cafes will blow you away this its amazing organic food.

Napket has a very slick interior design, including iPods at the breakfast bar and Philippe Starck chairs. The whole thing is covered in black gloss, even the toilet paper is black, creating a style more usually found in a slick bar than a cafe.

The name Napket comes from merging 'Napkin' and 'Market' which gives a clue as to the kind of food you get and the way its served up.

There's a 'create your own' salad bar as well as good quality ready-made salads and sandwiches.

'Snob food' is Napket's strapline but really it's neither expensive nor exclusive. It's a chic and surprisingly affordable place to eat.

Our Favorite at the moment here at "Hotbabes" is the GRANNY’S POT : Greek Yogurt, Homemade Granola, Honey £2.40 and FRESHLY JUICED FRUITS

BET Awards 2008

Kanye West, Chris Brown and Alicia Keys were big winners at Tuesday's Black Entertainment Television Awards in Los Angeles.

Kanye picked up 2 awards for both best male hip hop artist and best collaboration for his single "Good Life," sharing the award with rapper-producer T-Pain. Other winners included Chris Brown, best male R&B artist award, Alicia Keys, best female R&B artist award, Missy Elliott best female hip hop artist, Halle Berry best actress, and Denzel Washington best actor.

Lifetime achievement award went to our Favorite Al Green who was paid a musical tribute from Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton and Maxwell.

Follow up from our Sprinkles Cup Cake blog we covered in march. For those who can not wait here is what we found in Covent garden.

It is called 'Candy Cakes' and was founded in 2004 with the intention of bringing innovation to the world.  They sure did. Thier cakes are baked fresh every day in their Covent garden bakery and they are said to be constantly trying out new flavour.

They do deliver and orders can be made online each cup cake cost around 2.60 and will be shipped in the next day . Delivery charges may vary, Payments are taken via paypal or all major credit cards. Minimum order 13  bucks or 5 cakes

Right, this week we are loving the sultry voice of, 28-year-old Jazz vocalist Ms Lizz Wright, on her current album, 'The Orchard', she decided it was time to return to her roots, capture the simplicity of the blues and gospel music she heard whistle growing up as the daughter of a minister, in the rural town of Hahira, Ga, where she sang in church there with her two siblings.

Her first two albums, "Salt" (2003) and "Dreaming Wide Awake" (2005), were hits on Billboard's contemporary jazz chart.

This current album has a variety of producers including Craig Street, who has worked with Cassandra Wilson and k.d. lang, musician Toshi Reagon, and guitarist and longtime Bob Dylan sideman Larry Campbell. It look lizz two years to work on "The Orchard" album and we have to say her work is one to look out for

Have you ever heard off Sprinkles Cupcakes? Its coming soon to London, we hear, we just hope its not a rumour, I mean how cruel will that be?!?

Apparently a producer from Oprah Winfrey Show, asked if the Beverly Hills shop could deliver 300 designer cupcakes to Chicago by 7 a.m the next day to be featured on "Breakfast with Oprah," where the influential talk-show host goes on about her favorite treats before millions of viewers, Luckily for them.

After the show aired after the Feb. 1 show, sales of Sprinkles cupcakes, which go for $3.25 a pop, grew 50 percent to 1,500 per day.

"You can't say no to Oprah," Sprinkles co-owner Candace Nelson said about the opportunity.

Sprinkles cupcakes come in many dazzling colours and flavours - coconut, chocolate, lemon, chai latte and mocha, red velvet and vanilla. All topped with a half-inch thick layer of butter-cream frosting, it is also good to know that the flavours change daily.

Sprinkles also cater for special occasions we think their wedding choices are spectacular for for couples looking beyond the traditional wedding cakes and wanting to try something new and more modern.
