Red Velvet Cupcakes

How I wish I could have a wedding tier of RED VELVET cupcakes on my big day. Ahhhhhh

I remember standing in the queue at the Portobello road branch and watching a happy customer finishing her RED VELVET cupcake the cupcake left an interesting pattern of red on the cupcake paper after she had finished eating it. I don't know why, call me strange, but I was like that's the cupcake I am having! The red was a satisfying colour let alone all the smell of the bakery infusing in my head I couldn't wait.

OK, for those of you that don't know what RED VELVET cake taste like you are missing out big time and I would ask you to march down to hummingbird bakery and taste your 1st dose of this wonderful creation.

Well they do make other sweet stuff other than RED VELVET cake! like the Brooklyn blackout cake, New York-style cheesecakes, brownies, cookies and many more varieties of cupcakes

You can either sit in to eat your cakes with coffee if you like they do offer hot drinks or you can take it away with you.

Banjul beach

Banjul is a fairly small capital which excludes a village atmosphere. At its heart lies Albert Market - a bustling place made up of a collection of small stalls where visitors can pick up local crafts, batiks, silver, clothes and exotic fruits. Hotels are located outside the town on the beach at the estuary of the Gambia river.

Take a local boat, or "Pirogue" along Oyster Creek - the main waterway separating Banjul and the mainland. Gambia is renowned for its vast array of birds, making it an ornithologist's delight. Over 500 species in total can be seen.

My favorite season is fall it has always been from the lovely crisp weather to the clothes we get to wear, lovely bold colours, nice shapes, textures and fabrics. I just checked out Christian Diors fall collection, I can see myself in a couple of the outfits. Of course designed by my favorite designer John Galliano, Galliano said he'd been inspired by behind-the-scenes documentary photographs taken more than half a century ago. love it, love it, love it!

Alice in Wonderland

Talk about amazing costume make up and set design

I cannot wait to see this movie coming out March 5, 2010. I love the original and was one of my favorite movies to watch over and over other than Popeye, Sound of music and Annie, when I was younger.

When I first saw the images I thought it was Elijah wood but I have to say Johnny Depp looks amazing in this and I have to keep on awarding him with applause for his amazing choice of scripts for brilliant movies

Tim Burton have confirmed that Helen Bonham Carter will be playing the role of The Queen of Hearts. Bonham Carter has worked with Burton on five previous projects including Planet of the Apes (2001), Big Fish (2003), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005), Corpse Bride (2005) and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007).
